The tour starts in Monaco, which is the world's most densely populated sovereign country. 2 days of setup followed by Saturday's individual time trial and Sunday's departure.
The bike belongs to Lance Armstrong. All the teams had their team trucks parked along the dock, allowing anyone to watch the mechanics get them ready.
A very beautiful town with wealthy citizens. It's too rich for me but a very nice place to visit. Our days here were very long but at least we didn't have far to drive. In fact, we walked about 20 minutes to the harbor, which was the location of the start/finish and the the media compound. Back to France on Sunday!
