We arrived in Spa Belgium following stage 1. A short 75 minutes trip. It doesn't get much better than that. On the way out of Brussels I took the photo top left of the Atomium. Built in 1958 for the World's fair it stands over 300 feet tall. You can even go up inside it but of course I had no time for that. The next photo is of Bains Spa. I didn't go inside but I guess there's plenty of water around. Spa is where we get the term "spa". Since the 13th century it has been know for its healing hot mineral springs. Then finally a photo of the Casino, the oldest in Europe or perhaps the world, probably depends on who you ask. Built in 1763. I wonder how many decks of cards and dice that place has seen?
