Stage 6

Last night we stayed at the "le Charollais" hotel. It had a grill with pizzas and steaks. We didn't arrive until 10pm and we still got to eat. That's something that doesn't often happen in small town France. Stage 6 ends in Gueugnon which is Charolais country. It's the biggest area of France with cattle ranches and Charolais is the primary breed. Mark Cavendish won stage 6 for his 2nd win in a row. Everyone stayed in the same position. There was a fight at the end of the stage. No one of interest but it made the end of the day at little more exciting. Now it's a 3 1/2 hour drive to the mountains and the ski village of Les Rousses.
