Catching up on my blog this morning. This was our hotel after stage 12. Hostellerie Del L'Abbaye in Soreze. No air conditioning but that night was cool and opening the window was enough. Took my camera on a jog the next morning and got some photos. Getting up early or staying up late is about the only chance I have for photos. Otherwise, I'm stealing some off the internet.
The town was built around an 8th century abbey. After the French revolution, the abbey became a private boys school. Today the school is closed but now dedicated to a museum. On to the Pyrenees mountains for the critical stages of the tour.
